Inconvenient tide times meant a high tide chop-bothering session had to be suffered. It started off ok with relaxed 5.8 weather and a manageable mid-tide sea state. But the wind (sea breeze?) soon really kicked in which actually conspired to make conditions worse not better. With no swell a horrible choplumpfest was created which made trying anything just not fun so I called it quits earlier than I would have liked. A shame since the weather was glorious and it appears that this year's thermal effects are starting to work.
